ARC program

ARC (Amputee Rehabilitation Center) – This program is designed to help the amputee soldier returning from Afghanistan and Iraq go through rehabilitation and become productive to the best of their life situation. Emphasis is placed on the treatment to individuals and including their immediate family as much as possible.

Statistics have proven immediate family involvement and support increases positive recovery.

ARC will purchase and renovate existing hospitals where possible, but the heart of the program involves buying surplus school structures located throughout the Mid-West of the country and building treatment campuses that offer rehabilitation specialized for amputees to include the latest in therapy and treatment as well as assisted living.

  • Family housing, short and long term will be built and offered to the immediate family of the amputees at no charge.
  • Day care and schooling for the children will be provided and jobs will be offered for the spouses to help with support for the family situation.
  • All avenues of support through the Veterans Administration will be pursued for each soldier to receive the benefits they are due.
